Who will be the inaugural Panchos Pole Position Winner?

panchos_logo_colourWith the 2017 ‘18 Pro Dirt series about to explode into action at Ellenbrook speedway on Saturday the 7th of October. It is with great pleasure the LMRAWA welcome Panchos Mexican Restaurant onboard as the sponsor for the newly created Pole Position Winner Award.

Panchos have joined forces with the LMRAWA by sponsoring the Pole Position Winner award for each round of the XLI Pro Dirt Series, the Di Candillo Steel Late Model Nationals, and Di Candillo Steel U.S.A. Invasion Tour throughout the 2017 ’18 season.

Each pole position winner will take away 2 x $25 meal vouchers to be used at either Panchos restaurants located in Victoria Park and Mt Lawley.

So, who will it be?

Craig Vosbergen and Paul Stubber have the early runs on the board through their recent seat time in the United States. Paul especially having competed in over 50 races, including being the first international to complete the gruelling Hell Tour series during in his three- month stint.

Craig performed especially well in the Southern Nationals series with a top 10 series finish and would be pumped to win the opening night at Ellenbrook.
Then there a host of other talented drivers busting to get on the track for the first time and claim pole and the opening feature win.
Warren and Jamie Oldfield will no doubt hit the track flying, Jamie had a standout 2016 ’17 season and would be looking to take that form into this season!
Warren will be looking to start this season of with a bang by taking out his home tracks feature.
Brad Blake is always going to be a threat.
Jay Cardy will be looking to bounce back after an unusually quite season last year and claim the first round.
Kye Blight had a strong season last year and no doubt would love to start the 2017 ’18 campaign of with the first feature win of the season.

Throw in the likes of Veronica McCann, Matt Goodlad, Ryan Ludlow and the ever-improving Paul Joss, who would all be worthy opening night winners of the Panchos Pole Position award.

Its going to be one hell of an opening night!
