Vosbergen Favourite for General
New WA Late Model Champion Craig Vosbergen has always been one of the fastest racers around the high banks of the Perth Motorplex and with his recent victory in the WA Championship he starts as favourite for Saturday nights Peard Real Estate Late Model round when we salute The General 25 John Day Night.
The second generation racer has raced in the US on the tough American circuit and always presents an imaculate racing machine. The wide open spaces of the Plex suits his driving style and his car speed usually means he is fight for top spot on both nights.
With a quality 14 car field entered the Peard Real Estate Late Models Perth Motorplex track championship round race fans will be in for an action packed event.
Challengers Warren Oldfield and Brad Ludlow are the driver most likely to take it up to Vosbergen along with defending Track Champion Jay Cardy who returns for a successful our of the eastern states tracks.
Late Model veteran Ben Ludlow will have his Di Candilo Steel City racer on track and can never be discounted when he hits the circuit.
Former Australian Late Model Champion Ryan Halliday makes a welcome return to the track and will no doubt be force to be reckoned with despite work limiting the amount of races the hard charger is able to do.
