After a short break the thunder and lightning Late Models will this weekend return to action, this time on the red dirt of Kalgoorlie Speedway.
The Goldfield venue will host round six of the Racin’ Tyres and Accessories Pro Dirt Series, with thirteen drivers heading up the highway to compete.
Heading the list once again are Racin’ Tyres and Accessories pro Dirt Series points leader Warren Oldfield and last start feature winner Jamie Oldfield.
The Ultratune sponsored brothers have had a virtual mortgage on victory lane so far this season and will be hard to stop this weekend at a track that both have tasted victory at before.
The only other man to have scored a victory so far this season is Michael Holmes, who claimed the Bunbury round. He is another making the journey this weekend and would love to add a second win to his resume for season 2015/16.
Jay Cardy currently sits third in the overall points tally, with Kye Blight just behind him in fourth. Both have indicated they will head to Kalgoorlie and after each recording some consistent finishes will be hoping to break through for that elusive win.
Paul Joss, Ken MacPherson. Lionel Kirkby and Morgan Melvin have all had varying finishes and amounts of luck this season and will continue to build on their early season form this weekend while youngsters Jarrin Bielby, Jed Rogers and Jayden Meckenstock will also continue to get laps under their belts.
Brad Ludlow is making his first appearance of the season, but it shouldn’t take him long to blow off the cobwebs before he is right back in the thick of the action.
Make sure you are at Kalgoorlie Speedway this weekend for a night that is sure to be full of action!
