The Late Model Development Series will this weekend head to Northam Motorsports Park for another round of action. Although only a small field of nominations at this stage, Late Models always put on a good show at Northam, with the track configuration ideal for the division.
Last round winner Dean King heads the nomination list and will be looking to build on his recent victory at Kellerberrin Speedway. King has been in red hot form and has really come along in leaps and bounds, showing that he is a threat whenever he rocks up to compete.
Adding some spice to this weekends field will be Brent Vosbergen who makes his first appearance in the #13 machine after having missed a few rounds due to other commitments. The younger Vosbergen will be looking to continue his development after already showing a lot of talent behind the wheel.
Terry Haines is another who will be competing this weekend, and after some solid heat wins and good finishes, he will be looking to record a solid feature finish come Saturday afternoon.
Bryn Haythornthwaite is another one who has recorded a string of good finishes and would love nothing more than to improve again and grab the win. Lance Ferguson, Clint Philp and Steve Bond are all regulars in the series and although they haven’t broken through for a win yet, have all shown significant talent and will be looking to continue the development.
Drivers are to be in the pits by 10am sharp this weekend, with racing from 12pm. The Northam Speedway is located on Fox Road, just before Northam on the highway, with entry $15 per person, with kids under 12 for free.
See you all there!
