That is the question on everyone’s lips as we head into night two of the Late Model Nationals at the Perth Motorplex, with the man in question ‘The Kentucky Colonel’ Steve Francis.

Francis was simply unstoppable last night, winning qualifying, both of his heats and then the twenty lap feature to be sitting comfortably in the lead with a perfect 140 points.

Currently second is Craig Vosbergen while Devin Moran, Paul Stubber and Kye Blight round out the top five.

Drivers will tonight hot lap in three groups (determined by their heat grids) before competing in one more round of heats as the last chance to earn much needed points. Full grids are below.

After these heats are complete, points will be tallied once again and the top ten will move into a series of knockout races, while positions 11-25 will contest a Mid Pack Madness event to determine their starting positions for the forty lap final.

It is going to be another huge night of action, so get your backside trackside later today!
